Updates on Series 12

I won’t lie, Series 12 has been a challenge. Surprisingly more than Series 11 was, and that one was interrupted by a nation-wide pandemic. I think the reason this one seemed challenging was that it felt like more work to reach out and find folks. I don’t know if it was the summer season or people’s need to be more social and active again, but it felt like I kept hitting walls, more-so than in the past.

That said, the artists are selected, the work is submitted, and I’m giving myself until the end of the week before sending it all off to the printer. I’ve been notified by Drekker and Unglued that their machines are out of stock. Half Brothers Brewing Co. is also reporting being out of both AB and their own Half Bros stickers. So, in the next coming weeks, I’ll do my best to sleeve up some leftover stickers and get them out to those machines asap.

But, don’t despair! Series 12 is coming out soon and will be here before you know it! More updates on those as I get them.

Catching up...

Wow! It’s been a long time since I’ve posted to the blog section. Something hopefully I can rectify by being more on top of things. A lot has changed in this world since I last wrote. I won’t get into all that, but it has got me thinking about where I’d like to take AB into the future. I’m not sure on a specific path yet, but I’m excited to be trying new things like the YouTube channel where I get to chat and interview participating artists. I’m also experimenting a bunch with the brand, logo designs, and other random thoughts. Lately, a big influence of mine has been the NTWRK app. I’ve purchased many an item from their exclusive drops, but am mostly inspired by one of their more recent endeavors. They teamed up with awesome artists, designers, and illustrators to create work for local restaurants in their area with proceeds of exclusively designed merch going back to help those places keep up with post-pandemic financial hardships. Props to them and everyone involved with that project.

More soon!

Thankful...

Hi everyone, on this Thanksgiving Day, we at Albino Buffalo just wanted to say thank you to the artists, the supportive community, and anyone that has ever been a part of this project in the past up to now. We’ve come a long way in these past four years and we’ve seen this project continue to grow, and even inspire others (shoutout to ArtSticks - Boulder! - You guys are seriously killing it!). If we had even a dash of inspiring creativity out into the world, we are happy and honored to do so.

Personally from me, have a warm and happy Thanksgiving!

New logo, new site, new merch, new blog, new everything!

Hi everyone, today marks a really important, and long-time coming, day for Albino Buffalo. If you’ve been with us from the start, you know we haven’t had much of an online presence in the form of an updated, active website. Well, that changes today! :) Say hello to the new albino-buffalo.com!!

Here you’ll be treated to an updated artist listing complete through our latest series, along with random blog posts by yours truly, and the part I’m most stoked about…Merch!! Since day one, we’ve been asked where to get an AB shirt or pack of stickers. Well, ask and ye shall receive. The MERCH section is linked to our Paypal account, so feel free to purchase knowing we finally have a legit setup. Also, you might have noticed our logo has gone through a bit of change on the opening page. We thought after 4 years that it was time to give him a little more personality so we updated the logo to be a bit more where we’d like him to be.

Take a look around the new site and let us know what you think! If you see something we’re missing, let us know as this is a continued work-in-progress for us. If you’d like to be an AB artist, hit us up too, we’re always looking for more regional artists to participate.

Thanks for being patient with us as we took a little time away from social media and general updates. We wanted to focus on this site to make sure we did it right and devoted some time to making it happen. Love to all our participating artists and fans!
